Project Description

Alfa Omega School Batam was officially inaugurated on 25th July 2019 as part of our official launching of the new pre-school program for children in Punggur District, Batam, Riau Province, Indonesia. This memorable occasion allows Alfa Omega School Batam to start providing pre-school classes and programs and at the same time look to the future of providing the children with continuous quality education and learning process that they truly deserve.

AOC has fully funded the renovation costs of the newly renovated building, classrooms and hall of the building which provides new facilities and a much-improved learning environment for boys and girls of Alfa Omega School Batam. There are currently 3 teachers who teach at the school and 28 pre-school students learning at the school. It is our hope and purpose that the teachers and the students foster a life-long pursuit of education.

The school also provides a weekly health and nutrition program for about 100 children in the local disadvantaged community. The school will potentially grow student intakes and provide additional classes to benefit more students in many more years to come.
