Project Description

Alfa Omega School Depok (Residence 12) is a unique housing and educational complex located in Depok, Bogor, Indonesia. It provides early childhood education for pre-school children while also serving as a home for orphans and elderly caregivers. Upon inauguration of Residence 12 on 12 December 2012 in Jakarta, the school was founded with a two-fold mission;
1. to rescue and nurture 12 children who had been rejected or abandoned by their parents and introduce them to the love of God; and
2. empower 12 elderly couples to live purposefully by caring for these children as their own, fostering a faith-filled community that reflect God’s compassion and grace.

AOC was able to successfully accomplish this mission with the school now hosting 36 pre-school children, supported by three dedicated teachers, with hopes to grow its student intake in the coming years.
