On April 2022, Australia Oikos Care (AOC) and Alpha Omega School (AOS) celebrated Kartini Day as a national day in Indonesia. AOC has the same vision with Kartini and AOC believes the best method is to be an agent of change for poverty alleviation through education and empowerment of young people. When you allow the younger generation to have access to education, it means that we are equipping them for the future. Thank you once again to all our Australian sponsors who have continued to give and support us to make this project possible.

On December 2021, Australia Oikos Care (AOC) has raised some funds for the students of Alpha Omega School, We prepared a present for each of the students. This has brought great joy and smile to their faces. A massive thank you to all our Australian Sponsors who have continued to give and make this Christmas Cheers project possible in 2021.

We all work tirelessly every day to try and deliver excellent education, community development and project activities, so it’s a great privilege to be recognised across Western Australia with this award.

We are absolutely delighted to win the Education Charity of the Year Western Australia Prestige Awards 2020/21 and are thrilled with our achievement. Our AOC team works incredibly hard to support our school children, teachers and projects in Indonesia and help them feel safe during this very challenging time.

The Board, my management team and myself are so proud of their achievements and their dedication to go above and beyond with the care, time, endeavours and commitment they provide to ensure our schools survive and thrive in the face of the extraordinary challenges we currently face.

Over the past ten years we have helped thousands of children achieve their true academic potential, coaching and teaching them to gain excellent academic achievements and further their studies to accomplish their dreams.

A letter to our valued donors, sponsors, staff and volunteers

We trust that you all are safe and healthy wherever you are at the moment.

We want to thank our valued donors, sponsors, partners, staff and volunteers for their continued financial support, generosity and great efforts in helping Australia Oikos Care succeed to date.

This has been a challenging year for all of us, and our hearts go out to everyone affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. We have been monitoring this situation closely, and we strive to comply with guidance and regulations from government and public health authorities. Our teams in Australia have been working and keeping in touch with our school teams in Indonesia. We are grateful that we all are safe and healthy. Our teachers and students have been teaching and learning from home during the Covid-19 pandemic. Our students have continually carried on their learning activities by studying from home arranged and followed up by our teachers. The safety, health and well-being of our teachers, students, staff and their families is our number one priority.

In the coming financial year, through our 5 schools in Bekasi, Batam and Bali Indonesia, we will continue our school programs being PAUD (Kindergarten class), Paket A (Primary), Paket B (Secondary) and Paket C (High School) in line with the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture guidance and regulations. Additionally, depending on funding condition, we will start vocational training in information technology and digital e-commerce programs to equip and train Paket C students to further their studies at universities or to find job opportunities upon their graduation.

We will work alongside all the teams involved and our objectives for 2020/2021 are to continue the strength of our organization business and creating lasting school initiatives. We remain focused, passionate and determined to provide a quality education that will impact change. We look forward to a healthy and fruitful financial year ahead, helping our students and community to transform their lives and making their life better. God bless.

It’s exciting and very encouraging to see our Alpha Omega School students in Indonesia diligently and enthusiastically continue studying from home. They are closely monitored by their parents and our teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic stay-at-home regulations.

All our Alpha Omega School teachers are continuously keeping in touch with their parents to make sure that their children are safe, healthy and continuously studying in this extremely challenging time of the pandemic.

Making Life Better, Transforming Life and Shaping the Future of Children & Communities.

By God’s grace, it has been a fruitful and exciting year for Australia Oikos Care (AOC) for the entire year of our blessed journey, great efforts and dedication in making AOC grow and prosper.

May we take this wonderful moment to thank all donors, sponsors, partners, teams and volunteers very much for their tremendous support, donation, generosity and kindnesses. It’s the time to recognize the progress and results that we have made this year. It can be a continuing powerful motivator for AOC to think about opportunities to expand and contribute in the years ahead.

Our Alfa Omega Schools in Bantargebang, Marunda, R12 Depok and Batam, as well as 3 other schools that we have given support in Indonesia, have been operating successfully this year.

As we have continued our efforts and work together with our partners in Indonesia to expand our schools, we have recently entered and signed a new partnership with Efata Bali Foundation in October 2019. We will help Efata AOC Bali School renovate and upgrade their school buildings and classrooms in December 2019 as they have 43 students. This has truly marked our continuing best efforts and dedication to geographically expand our schools to other provinces in Indonesia, Making life better, transforming lives and shaping the future of children and communities.

As we started the year, we had 29 teachers and more than 320 students studying and learning at our schools. Today, AOC operates 5 main schools and 3 other schools and has 425 students including Paket A, B & C (Primary to High School) programs, a robust growth of 34% over the start of the year. This achievement would not have been possible without your continued support, donation, sponsorship and generosity as well as all the teams, staff and volunteers involved who have worked tirelessly throughout the year in Indonesia and Australia.

We have been blessed to have dedicated board, management team, staff, teachers and volunteers helping our schools and students to continue to flourish in Indonesia.
